The wedding of Mathew & Natalie Cox
The Dartington Hall wedding venue in Devon is a 14th century Great Hall, the largest medieval Manor House in the west of England, and certainly a very unique venue.
The hall is a Grade I listed building with Grade II listed garden, which gives a sense of majesty to any wedding that takes place in this type of setting. Being a DJ in this wedding venue environment presents it’s own audial challenges.
A huge airy high ceiling demands the best quality audio and lighting system otherwise anything else will sound very tiny and lost in such an vast wedding venue. The pillars of the great hall look particularly stunning when lit up with our battery operated up lighters.
Safe to say Mathew and Natalie Cox had a truly memorable day and it was a privilege to be a part of their special day. The dance floor was heaving and everyone partied hard to the last.
For those guests who do their research and book early it is possible to stay onsite which makes getting back to bed after a long and energetic day a lot easier.
This is a truly unique wedding venue that I hope to play at again in the future.
