Polhawn Fort is a beautiful wedding venue situated on the coast near Torpoint. An inside wedding can be grand and formal or small and simple. It’s up to you. There are two rooms within the Fort’s mighty walls where you can tie the knot. For maximum wow factor, there’s The Grand Napoleonic Hall which seats up to 120 guests. The Emperors Room is perfect for small and intimate weddings with up to 30 guests. Receptions can be held indoors or in a marquee on the lawn. The choice is yours.

The venue is truly stunning and set in beautiful grounds, the staff are always accommodating, however, couples must be aware this is a dry-hire facility so you would require to source your own caters, staff, bar facilities. Plus the fort is unique for many reasons and one of them is also the remoteness, so accommodation for guests can be tricky,  depending time of year and it is not the easiest of venue for suppliers and DJ’s a like to set up so you could find supplies charging a premium.
